How about supporting environmental project like Veritree? I think we could have the right momentum with the upcoming Earth Day on April 22nd.
My other alternative could be supporting Homeless Well-Being Charities like the ones in London Single Homeless Project

I am very much drawn to environmentally friendly initiatives.
There is this group in Ghana whose initiative is to clean up and desilt choke drains. A “cause” worth supporting.
