This month should be the start of the Causevest testnet as such im goign to cover a category instead of one set cause.
This month im focused on animals don’t have a voice, a home, or anyone waiting for them.
Millions of dogs and cats around the world live on the streets, end up in shelters, or are abandoned and left to fend for themselves.
So this month, Causevest is supporting three animal welfare causes across three countries.
USA | Best Friends Animal Society
Best Friends Animal Society works with shelters and rescue organisations across America to help homeless dogs and cats find homes, expand fostering and adoption, and move communities towards no-kill sheltering.
October is also Adopt a Shelter Dog Month, making it a fitting time to support animals waiting for their second chance.
Support the cause:
UK | Cats Protection
Cats Protection helps cats that have been abandoned, lost, injured or simply have nowhere else to go.
October 2026 also brings its Zoomies Series Autumn Challenge, with people taking on 13 days of running, walking or wheeling to raise money for cats in need.
Support the cause:
Cats Protection
UAE | Dubai Street Kitties
And finally, we’re bringing the campaign home to the UAE.
Dubai Street Kitties rescues, rehabilitates and rehomes street cats across Dubai. Their work includes caring for rescued cats, providing medical treatment, feeding, fostering and finding permanent homes.
For Causevest, supporting animal welfare here is particularly meaningful because these are the animals many of us actually see every day.
A cat sleeping under a car.
A kitten searching for food.
An injured animal that nobody has claimed.
Sometimes altruism isn’t about finding the biggest crisis in the world.
Sometimes it’s about noticing the suffering that’s right in front of you.
