Its suicide prevention month so i will focus on causes that look at suicide prevention this month.

World Suicide Prevention Day - on the 10th Of September ( I have not slept yet so it still counts for me)
We have seen a large number of suicides in Young people due to the COVID Lockdowns (more deaths to young people have come from Suicide then from COVID. So I’m proud to say that Cause vest users have voted to support 3 charities that deal with suicide prevention.

My vote this month goes to WASSER FÜR WASSER (WfW) https://wfw.ch/en/?__geom=✪#/ a Swiss-based company and the name means Water for Water. WfW is an independent non-profit organization that promotes the sustainable and fair use of water resources in Mozambique, Zambia, and Switzerland. Wasser Fur Wasser has convinced more than 300 restaurants to instead of selling commercial water bottles to start selling tap water in WfW bottles and the money will fully revert to ensure safe access to drinking water, sanitation, and hygiene in peri-urban areas in countries such as Mozambique and Zambia.

My vote this month goes to Mentally Aware Nigeria. Here’s a description of what they do-

Mentally Aware Nigeria is founded on two core beliefs: first, that all possible steps should be taken to alleviate stigma and the suffering arising from it, caused by ignorance and an unbelievable silence and negligence towards the health of the mind, from federal setups down to the locales; and second, that it becomes known that those affected by this disaster (as depicted in the first point), have a right to life with dignity and therefore a right to assistance. More information can be found on their website here- https://project-covid.ng/
