We’re pleased to announce that the Causevest General User Interface (GUI) has now reached completion.
While there are still a few minor design refinements to be made and the settings page requires some final polishing, all core functions and features are operational. The wallet is fully functional and represents a major milestone in the development of the Causevest ecosystem.
This project has been a long journey. Ultimately, we made the decision to bring development in-house and build the wallet ourselves. The result was a faster, more efficient development process and a product that we are extremely proud of.
With the desktop GUI now complete, development focus has already shifted to the mobile application as many of the causes we support are in countries where mobile phones are the only technical infrastructure available to them. Work is also scheduled to begin in 2 weeks on a dedicated Block Explorer, which will help visualize blockchain data and make network activity easier for users to understand and navigate.
The Causevest command-line interface was completed last year and was originally considered for launch. However, we felt that delivering a graphical user interface first would significantly improve accessibility, helping both new and existing users better understand and interact with the blockchain’s features and functionality.
This is another successful development milestone achieved by a small, close-knit team operating on a limited budget.
More importantly, it marks another step towards the quiet birth of an entirely new blockchain.
The foundations are now in place, and the next phase of development is already underway thank you for being part of our humble journey.
