How do you join the Causevest testnet?
To take part in the Causevest testnet you need to Register, download the GUI, copy your observation key, and you’re in.
You can win prizes and the firm date will be announce soon.
Step 1. Register on the ICO site
Go to xcvesting.io and register on the ICO site. Once you’ve registered, log in.
Once you’re logged in, open the menu, click the testnet icon, and you’ll land on the testnet page.
Step 2: Get your observation key
The first thing the testnet asks you to do is register for it so your account becomes viable for testnet XCV. To register you will need to download the Causevest wallet and provide a linking address, In the GUI it’s called the observation key.
Load up the GUI and let it sync. Then go to your address book, click “My address book”, and you’ll see your observation key. That is all you actually need to take part in the testnet.
Agree to the terms, withdaw XCV to your wallet and you’re ready to rock and roll.
Meet your team
When you get onto the testnet, you’ll notice you’ve been allocated to a team. It’s random. You’re either a Knight or a Chick, and that’s your team for the rest of the testnet.
Missions and points
You start with a certain number of points and a list of missions telling you what to do next. The most basic one: explore the GUI. There are plenty of others, and working through them is how you’ll learn how the testnet actually works.

What carries over to mainnet
The badge, XCV, NFTS and USDT you earn on the testnet will be reserved for you and given to you when the testnet ends according to our terms and conditions.
